Project type: Circular Design, Lecture

In 2021, I was asked to design and host masterclass in Circular Economy and Circular Design for Estonian designers, together with colleague and Circular Economy expert Kinge Gardien.

The two day course included an overview of CE as well as Circular Design, Systemic Design, EU legislation and collaborative exercises, with the express goal of providing the strategic skills to design a post-disposable future.

My responsibility was to introduce the link between design and circularity, the multifaceted role designers can take pursuing shifting towards circularity and design for systemic change. Keynotes and exercises included a deep dive into circular design strategies and systemic design in both theory and practice.
