Yangi®. Reshaping the world of packaging.

Yangi® is a manufacturing technology for dry moulded cellulose based packaging. It is a result of more than 10 years of R&D work. By combining two technology platforms it is possible to go from paper pulp into ready made packaging, in one machine line, using minimal amounts of water.

Together with the client, we created a brand platform and formalised a brand story which led to a forward leaning visual identity and toolkit adapted to the needs of Yangi® day-to-day operations. We treated the first six months of using their new identity as a beta stage, and did a revision of the toolkit to reflect needs only apparent after a period of real-world usage.

The Yangi® production process is a great example of innovative solutions to the problems created by our over-packaged, single use consumption culture and I’m proud to have been a part of their journey.
